i use booty type waders and layers on top..look at deadliest catch they use layers with rain suit on top if it works for them its got to work in texas..btw i wear sweats on top of my wader bottoms so i dont look like i am wearing spandex

Thanks everyone for the nice suggestions. I decided I would be better off if i go to Cabela's and try the cloths on. I would hate to order something and it not fit and have to return it to try on another size. Usually when it got cold outside was when i usually stopped fishing. But since everyone seems to do better in the winter time for the Big Blues, then I am going to give it a real good try this winter and see what happens. I will be seeking a guide for one of my trips also.
