the jitterbug, i caught several fish of good size but they are the worst made lure ever, i've lost 4 due to the freakin thing loosing hooks or the whole lure! really worked on the top water bite, buzz baits too. did well with those

The Red Eye Shad. I have heard a lot of good things about them but I have yet to get my first bite.

Swimbaits. After all the HOOPLA on this site about swimbaits, I decided to try several different brands. Just a waste of money on my lake. Don't get me wrong. They catch fish but not like everybody says. Maybe I was expecting too much.

I actually caught one of my biggest bass on it. It weighed 9 lbs 3 oz. It was about 30 degrees out and the line guides were freezing closed. I threw it by a small stump on the bank at Lake Nocona and he ate it. The only reason I bought it was because my nephew thought it looked cool so I said why not. You just never know.

Everything in tackle box except for Tiki Stiks and Blue Fleck worms, oh and Yellow Magics. Everything else worthless!!!!!!!!!

whatever was tied on my line at the moment the fish weren't biting it

Jig, Jig, Jig, and a Jig. Not sure how much I've thrown one this year, but I just can't get bit. Isn't for lack of trying either! Crankbait bite wasn't that great either.

Stick baits, Rouges,BangOlures etc... This year, was not the year. I've caught some serious big fish in the spring on those type baits for-------ever, until 2009. Maybe next year it'll be back.

Them thar' helicopter lures and banjo minners' sure looked purdy on the shelf and the infomercials swore I'd load the boat. For some dead burn reason I just haven't had as much luck on them as them boys on the tv.. I guess thar's always next year....

Chatterbaits- Only thing I ever hooked on that was some stumps. But that was last year now that I think about it.
So for this year the winner is-
Storming Hornet- Never even got a fish to take a half hearted swipe at that bait, but it sure looks like a good a bait for schooling fish.

That Bill Dance bait I think it is called the Dancin' El. Its a small crank with a long tail.
I have tossed it a few times thinking this thing has some great action! But I have caught NOTHING on it. I was even tossing it during a good day of catching. My fishing partner was catching fish left and right on a crank and I still could not get a bite!
Any one have any luck with that bait? i got one and the action on it sucked...it wouldnt swim right no matter what i would do to it...it would eventually swim to the surface and flip around....i did manage to hook one on it tho, but lost it before it got to the boat

I agree about the chatterbaits, but it is important to dispose off them correctly. Please send them to me and I'll handle their disposal............
