I have had a powerpole for the better part of a year now and I have really liked having it. As for the guys that are worried about using it other than the spawn. The powerpole is great just to have for every day use. I use the powerpole to anchor up in the middle of my day and retie. It is also great as an anchor point for a drift sock in a current situation. It is also good for culling fish and not being blown away from the bank.

Yes they are worth it. I have fished out of boats that have them and wish I could afford to put one on my boat. Fishing out of the marshes of louisiana, I have a 20 cast rule. If there's nothing in 20 casts, its time to move. Kinda a pain now to keep pulling up those cajun anchors.
