The 2009 Bass Pro Shop Grapevine Tournament Series Championship will be on October 3rd and 4th at Lake Grapevine. Dennis Hastings and Chris Taylor were the first team to have their names engraved on the BPS Perpetual Cup - who will have their names added this season?

The championship will stage at Katies Woods each day. The tournament will launch at safe-light with the weigh-in each day at 3:00pm.

Anglers may pre-register starting today by sending a PM to Scott Gordon, or sending an email to sgbhs@yahoo.com, or in person at the reel counter at the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine. Boat position will be in the order of registration. No entry-fee discounts will apply to this event.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LAKE GRAPEVINE WILL BE "OFF-LIMITS" TO ALL ANGLERS COMPETING IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP STARTING ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH THROUGH FRIDAY OCTOBER 2ND!

I agree Mike! The group that regularly fish this series are all good people and that is what makes this series so good! In fact, it is that very reason why I operate this series.

How many teams meet the qualification requirements? I will be there, but I have not been on the lake in a while.

The majority of the anglers that competed over the summer have qualified. I already have many pre-registered! Don't worry about the lake as it will be off limits come Monday so that will make it fair.
