My buddy caught an 11 lb 1 oz largemouth bass. What a hog. It jumped with the line way out at least 60 feet. His mouth was so big, it would almost swallow a soccer ball. Ha! I took the picture. I saw on the austin fishing forums that months ago someone else caught an 11 lb 1 oz bass and it looks like in the same area. Is it possible this was the same fish? He will have another chance because we let it go.

We also caught over 50 whites, all of them small.

We were fishing from the bank at the bottom of the M.

lake georgetown.

Maybe this fish was caught a year ago also???? I think we will name it Ole George.

BTW, most of the time if you throw a < 9 inch white or crappie back, and they don't do too well evidenced by their hanging out at the top of the water too long, maybe 90% of the time KERR BLAMMM, something eats them.

Georgetown is way down 20 plus feet? All the ramps are closed. That is the same area. Caught a 7 there not too long ago. Great area on a not so great lake

GREAT FISH!!!

Fishing is not a matter of life or death,
it's much more important than that!
