Thats awful....I leave when I hear thunder even if I'm just bank fishing. Prayers to the families.

That is wild...

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Wow that's horrible. Hate to see things like that happen.....I had a great uncle who was struck by lightning when he was about 75ish. Him and a few of his old man buddies were working on putting up a big billboard sign for a horse sale they were having. I think four of them were hit, all older gentlemen. It blew the bottoms of their feet out and killed one of them. It definitely ain't no joke.

Prayers sent...Me and my Father went drift fishing one summer afternoon a few years back on Lewisville, we watched a thunder head several miles away for about an hour, we headed for the dock when the four rods we had in the holders started to hum with a real slight buzzing noise...crazyiest thing I've ever witnessed. Serious stuff for sure.

Prayer sent to the family of both men.
Takes a long time if ever to get over this.
Don't take a chance with lightning.
Lightning still scares the [censored] out of me.
