This isn't my "catfishin machine". It's my "fishing machine" period.

I'm going to get into cat fishing this fall/winter, so I recently added 9 Bee Ready rod holders. I also just added an LMS-522c smile

This boat isn't nearly as fast and roomy as my old boat, but it's very low maintenance. I also use <2 gallons of gas per trip usually. Any catfishermen stuck on the bank are welcome to go out on LL or RR with me. Just shoot me a PM.

2008 Bluewave 1900VLC. Pic was from when I first got it. Now has a Saltwater Minn Kota. Bee-Readys and some Driftmasters. Lowrance Color FF/GPS and about 35lbs of shad scales and [censored] in the bottom. I drove 400 miles one way to get the boat I wanted.

Chase, do they give you a discount on your boat when you put all those advertisements on it? How does that work? I see boats all the time with ads on them and also some of them say Pro Staff, what does that mean, do they sponsor you for a tournament or something? I'll put ads on my boat if it will ofset some of the expense. How does one go about doing that?

Basically the Pro Staff is for Promotional Staff, I'm good friends with Joe at Advantage Marine so it's pretty much advertising for him. The other stuff like the electric is a buddies company and I owe him some advertising for some of the things he does for me and it's a little sponsership involved also.

New guy here !
Used to fish a lot 20 years ago sold my boat 15 years ago got the bug again after a few trips to the lake. Bought this off the forum 2 weeks ago and have been 7 times since ha ha.

I added a top for shade, new prop, stingray jr. and eagle 480 fish finder. Me and the wife love the new little boat. You can see in my sig that this is about the largest my little truck will pull.

Have watched all of the videos on Team Catfish can't wait to get started. So far Grapevine is my home lake [25min from home] !

Hope to see you on the lake! Johnathan

My 1973 24' pontoon made by my dad. My daughter calls her Moby Dick. Since this photo I have added driftmaster rod holders all the way around.

Maiden voyage circa 1973 (unfinished, no paint or sides)

How it looked before I re-did it in 2000. I'm number 32 pushing on the front of the boat. circa 1978

I have thought about adding an enclosure before. I may get serious about it this winter. My wife wants a porta-potty add next.

I will post a pic of mine on here in a day or two. Just added 3 more bee ready racks on here on tuesday. That makes a total of 26 rod locations possible on just the gunwales. Have 4 recessed in back deck and able to tuck away 22 in transit. Got to love those XPRESS boats and all their room.

Chris , how hard is it to anchor that big toon ? I would think the sides would catch tons of wind.

I don't anchor very often. I drift most of the time or tie up to trees.

Love it, it is picky on fuel, but just change out that $5 filter/water seperator twice a year and it is great.

Unfortunately, I use to chase those other green fish when I bought this boat. It eats me up that I didn't even consider a center console, but I still love my boat. Here it is:
