I know it's not a tube, but I think I've found the perfect small water vessel for me. I won't have to worry about puncturing it or having a blow out on the water. The sides are hard like a bassbuster, yet it's laid out like a kick-boat. I haven't tried the oars yet but I know they'll provide some much needed exercise. I mounted a rod holder and milk-crate I had in the garage and was pleasantly suprised to see it held 6 Plano 3700s perfectly. I need to buy another 3-rod holder and mount that on the back of the milk-crate. Overall I was surprised and pleased with the quality of this thing. The aluminum frame is larger diameter and stronger than I expected. I'll still use kick fins for manueverability while fishing but may use the oars to cover distance. I also plan to install a fish finder using the ram mount designed for rails. I'm including a photo of that also. I'll be using a few ideas I've seen from the kayaker forums dealing with installing things on plastic hulls.

Nice, you took the plunge with the Tahoe. Let us know how it handles in different water conditions. A tip from some reviews; Use some better straps (ratchet type) for them pontoons.

That's a pretty cool little craft. Hope you get lots of use out of it.

Any way to hookup a trolling motor to it?? Yes, you can. The manufacturer makes a trolling motor mount. Essentially it's the same back deck, with an upswept brace that has a transom mount on it. I'm posting a picture of one similiar. I'm not going to do it as I don't want to mess with TX numbers and registration. I really do enjoy the simplicity of this type of fishing, plus the exercise aspect never hurts.

Go a paddle that thing with your kayak buddies a few times and you will have numbers on the side, promise.
It's more than the catfish would do.

Absolutely put numbers on the side and mount an electric. Why waste all that energy Rowing that could be used Casting. Either way oars, flippers or a motor you will have to wait for your tube friends to catch up with you. Heck you could LIMIT out BEFORE they even arrive. The reason I bought a FoldCat was the same reasons - don't need to get wet and too old to swim everywhere, plus I can take a friend along too. http://www.seaeagle.com/FoldCat.aspxI bought mine used for $700.00. I used the Craigs list national search engine at: http://www.searchallcraigs.com/ and also at:

Nice toon. It can be a lot of trouble registuring a toon but yours is new so it should be like any other boat. After you take it out a few times you may change your mind. How are you transporting it? Mine rides on my bed cover using ratchet straps to hold it there.
