I have aeveral of the shad swimbaits by H20 and they are great!
Much better built than the 20.00 King Shad

Responded to this on BBC.I have not tried in fresh water yet, went to the coast last week for some trout fishing and the trout like it.Hooks are a little small, moved front hook to back put #2 gamakatsu ewg on front.Casts good, has a little wobble in flight but its not bad, sinks like a rock don't know if that is good or bad, action is good used a steady retrieve with a little twitch twitch to make it jump and the trout would hammer it.The guy I trout fish with thought I was nuts until I caught fish,he called me from Academy the next day he could not remember the color and bought 2 of them, they are the 31/2 model.Seems to be a good bait give them a try.

I started seeing H20 products at Cabela's(Kriet's creature and another one). Weird that a "Academy" product would be at a competing store.
But the swimbaits are sweet and seem to be perfectly sized.

Those are made by Big Bite and are not H20 brands.

first cast i threw one i caught a 4.5#. after that, nothing. i was throwing the smaller version. i like them ok, they don't fly very good on the cast, its kinda like a knuckleball. and i wish they sunk slower than they do.

We are headed to Amistad on Sunday. Picked up three to try down there I hope to see how well they work. We are staying at Angler's Lodge.

Do they cast any better than the BBZ1 swim baits? cause those spin like crazy on the cast.

Thanks for the pics. Look pretty good. Wonder how long the swim action parts last after landing a bunch of fish.

I bought some today and tried them in my swimming pool. Man, have thay got some action. I can't wait to try them at the lake. They're more natural than any bait I've ever seen, especially the shad. BTW, when they sink to the bottom, they stay upright. You can twitch it like it's wounded or sick. Gonna' get some more tomorrow. Can't get to a lake until next week.
