I got this can yesterday, and when it runs out.. I plan on no more.

I am down to 1 can a day at this point. Normally a 2 can a day habit for me. I am tapering and will get there on my target date of Aug. 28

Well I've almost made it 24hrs without a dip, and it hasn't been too bad. My wife says I've been pretty mean, but I think she is kidding??? I got tired of sunflower seeds about 8AM and I'm getting pretty tired of gum now, but I know I will make it until tomorrow. I will say I reached in my pocket at least 10 times today to take a dip, then realized I didn't have any. I'm really starting to believe I can do this now, I know it's only been a day, but it's the longest I've been without a dip in a long time.

Good job Priddy. I have started to slow down, but I can't seem to get to that day 1 with no can. Congrats!

You know, I didn't really "want" to quit, but I knew I needed to. I think what has helped me so far is I chose the date I was going to quit a week or so ago, then I told my friends and family I planned to quit on that day. A couple of my friends called this morning to check on me and I don't want to let them down, I feel commited to do it because of them and my family, but now I want to for myself as well. (Not to mention, I've already decided what I'm going to do with that extra $100/week )

Well I've made it almost 2 days now, my wife is still grumpy but she is getting better. I'm surprised how well this is going. Dealing with a bunch of idiots tomorrow at work will be the real test!
