7ft mh with 10 lb line, makes for a nice fight and a little more finess.

High dollar bass stuff aint good enough, must have some spare money bass chit should work fine

My favorite settup is my G loomis m/h with any shimano reel to go with.I know kinda pricy but U can feel a sandy sneeze on the other end .I use nothing less than 30 to 50 lb braid,cause I do not like losing 1st fish,second lures. And if you hang one of those 15 to 30lb cats with 12lb mono as most of u slab guys will sooner or later,U will never see what U had .My 2 cents !! Good luck
