Every knows about opinions (just like unmentionable anatomy parts), every body has one. But, I must agree that the slip float is the only way to go. I just started using them last year after a trip with Guy. Now it is just like the AMEX card. "Don't leave home without it".

I have used it intentionally with the large green trash fish tubes, and have suspended the tubes just off the bottom to catch those nasty fish. laugh

When you shoot docks w/float how deep is your stopper set without it getting caught in the guides of your rod? 18-20 inches? who_knows
