Unless you are planning on competition casting......there is no reason to spend that much money on a rod.

true im just looking for a good 12 footer for when im bank fishing the ones at most outdoor stores look cheap...

Unless you are planning on competition casting......there is no reason to spend that much money on a rod. I know , that's why I'm only gonna spend $30 on one.

Academy has some for like S25 but they look like they can break easily

i have a pinnacle shoreline classic, 11 1/2' & daiwa eliminator 11' ... both casting rods & i throw 8 oz with both of these ... i gave around 50 bux for each one of these ... i don't think the pinnacle is still available but the eliminator is ... the pinnacle is the best rod but for the money either one can't be beat
regards albertking catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

ya those look good but i want a casting rod not a spinning..berkley has a 10' glowstick that im kinda intrested in..

Hey and cabela's has a nice line of rods. I've had one of these before and it was a great rod.

Hey and cabela's has a nice line of rods. I've had one of these before and it was a great rod. I have been trying these rods out for the last year and they are top notch for the money.. Sensitive tip with plenty of backbone , and they cast extremly well. I only paid 20 bux for mine I see the have gone up 5 bux since last year still well worth the money..
"The wife said shes gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time"! I'm sure gonna miss her...
