Kerry I'm sorry we never fished together. We couldn't get the timing right. Fully understand about your family. These kids grow up so fast and then they're gone. The good news is that the grandkids come along and you'll have a ball with them too. I met your younger ones and they were certainly well mannered and sweet kids. But then they have fine examples in you and their mother. Good Luck.
I'm sure i'll be seeing you around Benbrook, if it has any water in it!

I know what you mean. When my kids were in school, sports, and music, etc. I barely had time to go fishing at all. But that
also brings back a lot of memories in later years, and we did
get to go fishing together once in a while. But take it from
me the time will go by a lot quicker than you want it to, and
you will be saying, I think I'll try it again. Ask Randy.

Sorry to hear that... But I understand the torn feelings, go thru it from time to time. Wish you and your family the best with the time you will have now...I dont get to fish hardly any at all anymore, but when I go my daughter is now the first person I ask. Thankfully she takes me up on it. Take care, and stay in touch.

Good luck Kerry - - Benbrook regulars like myself will miss the reports and helpful hints, but you have definitely made the right decision on family coming first!

Good Luck Kerry, and take care of those kids... my son told me the other day that when it is nice, not hot, a little cloudy , not windy and we can take the dog he wants to go with me  That is better than the answer 2 months ago of "NO"

Thanks Guys.  Dont mis-understand me, im not guiding anymore but im still fishing! Just gonna be with the family more, and more lakes, in between all the other things. I will still give the reports for Benbrook regularly. If there wasnt 2 other guides on benbrook, I would post the GPS cords for my spots just to see how many people would be there when i went out
