I tried keeping some cat's in an aquariam and they would dirty the water up bad in just a few min. Don't know how but they would changed it a few times and still would dirty it up. Think it was fish poop? Had about a dozen real small fish i got from a truck rut after a rain. They were stranded in this rut. They were also mud cats maybe that is why lol.

More than likely it was from over feeding...Thats a really common cause of dirty water and bad water quality. I have had plenty of little mud cats and never had a problem!

i use to have a 1.5# bass, a few crappie, some perch and i raised tadpoles up at one point. o and lots of dif channels, id catch em, keep em for a while and then let em go and catch something dif. its fun. idk what u feed em, but we go catch a whole buncha grasshoppers, and u can freeze em which is great, then just chunk teh tails in ther for the perch and crappie. for the bass we would get small bait fish. let eem swim around and then in a few days theyd be gone. we also gave it grass hoppers too. fun stufff!!
