Problem here is everyone has different ideas of what is acceptable. If I am fishing in a boat lane I will wave people by, I acccept that I am fishing in a area that there is traffic. I do not expect them to stop for me. But I sure would not pull a tube in a boat lane on TB with anyone's kids....

Running in the "smooth water" behind another boat should not be done anytime, regardless of the circumstances. You are putting their safety and your own in jeopardy. No one can predict the actions of the boat in front of them, they may stop suddenly or make an unexpected turn. Closing speeds are unpredictable on the water when the boat in front stops.

Toledo Bend is a lake that needs to be boated on with extreme caution. Every has made valid points but I believe something has to be done. What, I have no idea.

The only problem with putting common sense into any rational explanation is the it is not that common.

PS How bout them LSU Tigers.

When in doubt, jerk.

OMG you'd have a stroke if you saw what goes on at Alan Henry. That lake is so narrow it looks like a motor car speedway on the weekends in the summer. I can't even enjoy myself when it's like that. I'm so paranoid I'm going to run over some idiots kids. People are just lined up running nonstop all up and down that narrow channel. Every time a skier or tuber wipes out they take up half of the boatable lake. Then you'll have all the rocket scientist anchored right in the middle of a narrow bend letting their kids swim 200 feet from the boat while their chugging a Budlight. It's a nightmare. That's why I fish at night till it's too cold to swim, lol.

How many Aggies does it take to clog up a boatlane?

Sorry...couldn't resist.

i dont see why you have to pass tests and take classes to get drivers license and we have thousands of wrecks a day but they let any aggie just hop in a boat and power off into the water like everything will workout alright
