Hey Z71 -- are you moving North???
I have only launched at Tower Bay and Lake Park...but I thought Hidden Cove Park up in that area had a pretty good ramp. With your boat you might want to head down to the Colony and launch over there -- think it is called Stewart's Landing or Stewart's Park.
Surely some of the guys on here launch on that side of the lake...

I live between Denton and Little Elm just a mile down 720 from 380. I haven't had the boat out in more than a month...got to go fishing soon but I have to at least run the boat a little. At this point my main concern is safety so I may head up to the main lake to launch. Sooo many lakes here and so little time.... Give me a hollar if you ever have an open seat...thanks

Man -- that arrangement will put the miles on the truck!!! Yep - boats just need to be run to keep them healthy. I have been fishing Texoma a lot...but I am about to start fishing back on Lewisville again -- it is kind of like my second home lake ...got full calendar for the next 3 weekends -- oldest son getting ready to go to college!!!

Hey! We don't want any of those Benbroke guys on LL. We already have enough yahoo's out here I plan to be on the water this Thursday afternoon. There is a couple places that I want to put the "holzer charm" to and see if any fish are home. Z, I want to offer you a ride but I'm going to be on the opposite side of the lake from you. That is, unless you want to drive over to the Tower Bay ramp.... If you take your boat out then, I can leave the radio on.

Holzer,
I'd drive over if I could... I'd like to take a raincheck on the ride.
I have to head toward Georgetown on Thursday. I hope to be back Sunday in time to hit the water for a short while.
If you have an open seat some other time I'd like to go.
Thanks,
John Z71

Ya'll schedule a gathering of some sort before winter and you'll be surprised at how many friends you can make. A few BBer's may even show up if someone will show us where to fish.LOL What ya'll think of this. A LL TFF lunch one day? I say BBer's not welcome though unless they bring GPS's for group study.

Went out Sunday morning and to get away from the boat show we decided to bass fish. Right where we went to bass fish a big school a hybrids popped up real fast and we threw to them about two times and got a 7 lb hybrid on a tiny torpedo. Its hard to stay away from the schooling fish haha.

I'd say that is a good idea. That we could meet the regulars we see out there but don't neccesarily know they are TFF'ers.

Great Idea about the lunch. I would like to meet alot of TFF'ers and make some friends. Maybe on a Sunday because some people like me work on Saturdays!

Meeting TFFers on the water is harder than you might think. Last time I was on Lewisville a couple boats that obviously knew each other came over to where I was fishing and we started talking and one of them asked if I have heard of the TFF. Come on guys...I am standing right by my center console with TFF stickers all over it!!!! Maybe the stickers need to be a bright orange or glowing

I wish I had a TFF sticker but my Dallas Cowboy colored CHampion will have to do for now. Someday one of my friends like Lite Liner or Boston Bob will get me one.
