Lemme practice this here ... "TAHOE!!!"Did I get it right? Now instead of using bad words on here & getting censored, we can call someone a 'Tahoe' when they're being a jerk! I like it

Went out to the main lake by the dam and nothing. One sandie and a catfish. I usually fish in the late pm and slay the fish. AM sucks, although it did feel really nice outside.

Never found them today at all. Did not participate in the boat show. Drove up to it twice and saw no one catching anything and left and went elsewhere. No luck today.

I decided to stay in this morning, i Had full intentions of going out but after seein the weather last night and how fast that Barometer was rising i decided to stay in and watch the forums to see if my guess was right.
I got to mow the yard and guess what? not once did a red tahoe pull up next to my mower!

Went out this AM and went to all the normal spots and nothing. On the way back in we stopped off on the NE side of the I35 bridge and caught 20 or so dinks that were schooling. Called it a day and left the lake to the crazys.

Was out today working the Tournament of Heroes event. Had a great time that I'm sure will be posted in another thread. I didn't get to fish much since I was running a camera boat.
Pretty much any point that faced into that south wind had fish on it. Seen schooling action in the Hidden Cove area, Cottonwood Park and Twin Poles area. On a occasion or two, I stopped to let the camera guys daughters catch some fish. I had a tail spinner and small swim bait. Anything they pulled in was small.
I was really surprised that on a Saturday morning there wasn't more boats on the water. It was a great day. Got a little warm early afternoon. But it wasn't like those scorchers we've had lately.

I was also out working the tournament of heroes event. Found them schooling on the north bank straight accross from sneaky petes. it was cool to see some of the soldiers get to take adavantage of the schooling fish. it was a hard day for them bass fishing.

Good morning Lewisville....1st edition. I just read three pages of what might become something like the Belton Bunch. If y'all really want to do this there are a few thing to remember. 1st. Yes, there are and always will be lurking potlickers. To counter that use the PM feature of the TFF. When you post landmarks/shoreline pix on the open forum do not be surprised to find "your spot" is now a boat show for the next two weeks. We have folks ask for info about Belton all the time. I will only respond to questions via PM. Just remember the lurkers are/were always here. 2nd. To keep this a fishing only subject may prove difficult as your group becomes better acquainted with each other. Our group over the last 4 years have gotten very close. We do an annual GTG to celebrate our fishing derby. So many times the subject matter goes off topic. There are times you may have to read through 2 pages of BS to find useful fishing info. 3rd. You just really have to like each other as a group. Points 2 & 3 may be easier for the B.B. because we are a much smaller community. That may prove more challenging in the Metro-mess with a lager pool of personalities to mesh together. Good luck Lewisville!
