She called a couple hours ago from the doctor's. No cancer, but they're giving her radioactive iodine (mild chemotherapy) dose to kill the thyroid because it is pre-cancerous. Then she'll be on thyroid hormone replacement for the rest of her life.

Oiks! The only positive I can see (and you guys have much better info than from out here) is that it's pretty well settled down over there now. But still, having her off across the world in Mesopotamia won't be any much good at all. I'd miss the H3LL out of my wife for that long.

Wow thats rough, I just recently found out that my wife does not have cancer either, but she does not have to leave for over a year.
 It's more than the catfish would do.
