hi guys. i am new to houston freshwater fishing. i try to hit the lake tomorrow early morning probably sunrise in lake woodland or lake houston. but my boat still not ready to go yet. so anyone can give a good spot on those 2 lakes without boat and early in the morning. thanks

Oh ok was going to tell you don't fish for carp in Lake Houston its terrible! I've never fished either of the two lakes above for anything other than carp. When i go after eating fish i bass fish smaller waters near to the house. Just about all creeks and ponds in my area have bass in them. No catfish yeah good luck with that! haha
