gti....cmon brother. im known to pull in cats 30+ lbs off the navasota river daily. we need to go and once you catch a 30+ lb yellow cat on r&r you wont even waste your time on polly wogg catfish....TRUST ME. whenever you have the time ill take my boat and you take yours and well hang around together and ill show you some tips that work well on both brazos and navasota rivers here in town.

Nice, GTI! Thanks for the site. My cleats don't sit on my top lip like most bass boats. They run inside the lip, so I'll have to see if these will work. I'm gonna give them a call, though! I appreciate it!

i have a 4x4....you have to slide your boat down the sandy banks...then when your ready to leave just tie your boat to the trailer and gently pull it up using your truck...i wouldnt do this unless you had a 4x4 though.....the only other actual boat ramp on the brazos is around i think marlin?? someone correct me if im wrong but i do think theres one there.

cant be that heavy.. i have a 14ft xtra wide xtra deep with a 15 evenrude..YOU CAN launch a boat at hwy 30 east bridge on the navasota river just go up river not down...you go down you will hit bank at the first bend. but you should adventure out and fish rivers around here. youll be supprised about the catfish quality we have here. i went to the brazos lastnight and through this mornin some r&r action caught a nice mess of channel cats fishing a sandy bottom on crawfish...

i hope you dont mind me using your idea on the front deck. i have a boat identical to yours and am putting a front deck on it just mine will be removable so when i am running lines on the river i can get it out of the way. i really dont need a bigger deck because i will not be taking this boat to the lake much but i just decided to do it anyway. looks great BTW.
