Grape Jelly worm with a white tail.
I caught 22 bass in 23 casts at Baker Park in Sherman, Texas. Largest bass was almost 3 pound, smallest was about a pound and a half.
Have never been that consistent since, but most always have good luck with this bait.
Runner up is a motor oil wavy tail......deadly!
****Sun sinking low....lines baited.....gentle south breeze blowing...you realize.........I AM! .

James, what size weight do you use most often with these worms? Mostly a 5/16-3/8 oz. tungsten weight but will also use a 1/2 oz. or heavier when fishing it out deep or in thick vegetation

Thanks, James! I was fishing a 10" power worm the other night around a lot of grass and didn't stick with it because it didn't feel "right". I'll try a 1/2 oz weight next time.
I tend to get stuck on using either an 1/8 oz or 3/16 oz, and I wasn't happy with those where I was fishing. I don't think I've ever used more than a 1/4 oz on a texas rig before.

6" purple with a white tail will catch fish anywhere or Blue Fleck Power worm or Original Culprit Pumpkinseed
any of these three will catch fish anywhere you need to go.
