I live pretty close and i guess this could be posted under "bank fishing" as well, but since my target is carp and buff, figured i would just ask here, anyways i dont know if anyone fishes the parks of this lake, but i've googled it and located a few parks to fish and was just wondering if anybody perfers one park over the other for location when fishing for carp, since its getting hot and they are running to deep water i was wondering if one spot was closer to deeper water than another, so if anyone has fished these parks around the lake and has a reason as to why they might prefer that spot more i would like to know. I know you guys are big on doing alot of research on finding your "own" spots, so i figured thats what i will do as well. I am going to fish this lake at all its parks over the next few weeks and see how one swim does over the next, i figure a 3-4 day fish in a swim should be enough to produce enough info, so i will keep updating and let you know how everything goes, this will be my first experience doing a little "research" on carp fishing and hopefully in the future will help me later with my fishing. Wish me luck guys, and Chris G. are you in?

if anyone in the area would like to join me to fish sometime, PM me and ill let you know when and where I'm going, that way Im only bumping with results instead of other stuff

I thank God for each day!

Never fished it, but heard it is mostly 5# carp and 8# buffs. Same with Eagle Mountain and Marine Creek

Bowfishing sucks

Yeah, Worth is a fun place to fish though,

I've done well at Casino Beach, easy fish, and lots of 5-10 lb fish.

Results are in!
I've taken my buddy fishing 4 or 5 time and we have manage to do pretty bad, he kept thinking he was bad luck and all this and that, well today we got to Sunset Park at 6 baited the water and cast our lines, around 9, the fish were on! from 9-1 we caught fish consistently and manage to lose about just as many to poor hook sets and a few broken lines. But anyways these are the fish we caught on some sweet corn mixed with some strawberry cool aide.

Since it was his first time to catch carp i did most of the baiting and fish handling and decided to just sit back and let him enjoy being in a school of carp, it was a blast!

Most of the fish ranged from 5-9 lbs with a 13lb carp and a 14lb buffalo in the mix, he caught both the big ones and most of the rest of the fish, i had a few but i mainly wanted him to have fun being his first successful fishing trip!

weights may vary by a few lbs of course)

This was the 13lber, was flopping and fighting during the pic

14lb buffalo that didnt put up any kind of a fight lol

all in all we caught about 12 fish total and saw one weird looking bug, anyone know what this is?

this is the top view of it

this is the bottom view

I thank God for each day!

yeah, this was alot better turn out than i expected, there is an old abandon boat ramp where we were fishing, so im thinking the water might be a little deeper in this area, and its like a cove. Seemed like the fish came in all together and never really left, i just ran out of method mix and they weren't interested in just the corn, wierd yes, but if i didnt have the method out, they wouldnt touch it, with method 10-15 minutes and fish on
