Are you wanting overnight or annual? For annual I'd go with bridgeview if they had an opening, by far the nicest rv park on the lake.

Quail Hollow is the Bomb... Great People two nice ramps. Not much outsider traffic. Centrally located in Little Caney. Great price. 950 per year. Great spots open right now.

Jim....elaborate...I will be building a park on Fork and think Bridge View is a nice one to model after...what dont you like?

I currently have a place in Fishermans Camp in Mustang and love it...its small, and its roomy (larger lots).

Wish we had something besides a dirt road...but the good far outweighs the dust!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I am not Jim but we looked at Bridgeview when we were wanting a place and its a great park, very clean and friendly and about the only draw back I saw was the restrictions on length of stay which I was not fond of. If I am paying for a yearly lease I am gonna use it as much and when I want and would rather not have to deal with a restriction. I have a friend that has a place there and loves it. I think its more just personal preference. Again Bridegeview is VERY nice.

You can only stay "at your place" a certain amout of time a year..you can not live there, you cannot retire and move there,..it too was my first choice,..it is very beautiful,..but the way I figured it was I could only spend about 3-4 months a year there,..since they pay a lot of the bills, they only want you there a certain amout of time,..

Didnt realize that...the reason you cant live there is based on rules that the S.R.A. has in place for RV's on lease-back land.

S.R.A states that RV owners can stay for like 2 or 3 weeks and then you have to leave for a couple days...not sure of the exact terms around this but I know you can spend a lot more than 3-4 months a year based on SRA law.

The rules that Bridgeview has in place around time spent in the park can only be one thing....sewer cost....the more you are there, the more water you use...the more that hits the sewer...there are no water meters except for where his main hits the park...there is no way to monitor water or waste other than an average based on time spent in the park.

I did not realize that this was the case...interesting. What are the rules in the park?

I love Fishermans Camp in Mustang...there are a couple of nice parks on the lake...I hope mine will be pulled together in the next 5 years...have land that is prime for a park...90 waterfront spots on a point...just dont have time to be there to make it happen.

Did not realize that. Learn something every day. No one at our place has told us you cannot stay there full time if you want. thumb

The only time it really ever becomes an issue in most parks if you are breaking other rules and they want to give you shiat!

There are rules around it ...but for the most parks dont pay too much attention to them.

The newer park model homes which have full sized toilets and sinks use sooooo much more water...the cost hits the owner of the park pretty hard. Bridgeview is full of Athens Park Model trailers (I love mine!).

Happy Fourth of July Folks...I am officially headed to Fork for the first time in 6 weeks...staying the whole week .. yeeeeeee haaaaaaaw!

We have looked at those park models and some are not cheap at all. Actually found out a killer lot came open near the ramp where we are so we are switching over to it ASAP. Its getting harder to come home everytime we go to leave. thumb
