Whatever dude, I know I dont own the water take your soapbox to another topic. Soapbox? That's rich coming from someone who just said they would tear up existing wildlife to keep someone from fishing in "their" spots. very witty ....any more? Pulpit may have been a better choice of words. Dude if I have to move a tree I will put it back or find another to put there if anyone else wants to fish there then they can move it themselves if they want to put in the work. I run in no water, I hack reeds and rushes or cut out a bush/tree to get into places is that all destoying habitat? for what feral hogs? So are you done or are you waiting for me to say Uncle?

Now that is funny right there. You guys go to Fork and beat on one another at the ramp. I think I'll do my fishing elsewhere. I was on that lake before it finished filling and before it was known for big bass.... All I got to say is "So sad". Greed and ego's got everyone worked up over stinky ol' fish. LOL

I've only been followed one time. Two absolutely beautiful blondes stayed on us for about an hour, every where we went they came!!!!
I told my partner put the hammer down and the trim up and leave them in the dust, luckily they only had a 150 LOL
Dang sure don't want them to see us fishin on our best spot!!!!

Following people guide or no guide is not going to make you a better fisherman. You need to be able to find the fish on your own and understand why the fish are there and when. Hole jumping or comming in on someone is just not right. I don't know about that.. you can learn alot about why fish are on a particular hole and you can duplicate the pattern. i agree with that if u are just getting started fishing but u should go some were else to find your own fish

works good if you can fake a few hits there also, maybe a nice hang up and a little cussing when you lose it lol, "must have been 8 lbs at least, did you see the size of that sob?"works great for those who are looking for rod bending to put them on fish

Its not like someone followed you there, took the coordinance, and then beat you there next time out is it.

I got followed today crappie fishing! Some guy in a blue and white fish and ski followed me all around the lake, and attempted to find all my brushpiles. If he would've asked, I would've left the buoy out for him, cuz I surely didn't do any good.

Fayette is famous for guy's fishing the bent rod pattern. I't seems to be more common with guy's driving Bay boats for some reason? Here is what I do. pull up on spot that is a non fish catching spot, squirt 5 or 6 squirts of origanal fish formular on the water and add a hand full of crushed crackers or bread. once them bay fishermen see the slick and the birds diving they can not resist fishing that spot. cheap entertainment. LOL

All this BS could be avoided if we all just went out and looked for our own fish but that aint going to happen. I would feel like an idiot if I found spots by watching and following other people. And personally I just dont get it. Catching fish that someone else found just doesnt do it for me. Its the hunt and locating fish that is exciting for me. As far as tournaments go, as long as I have done it my way, I can live with the outcome, good or bad. And doing well in a tournament that I have worked hard for is just that much sweeter. I dont know what it would feel like to win a tournament on a spot that I found because I followed a guy around the lake, but I think it would fall short of feeling like an accomplishment.

So Eric, you saying you never look or accept information when fishing? Just be real.. I don't condone following somebody, but if I just happen to see someone on a spot and catching fish.. I'm going to check it out later or another day..
