Im intrigued to hear why people prefer bass pro shops over other brands. Any particular reason besides its price? Thomas, I have tried a few of the others and I feel that BPS performs as well or better than the others for quite a bit less money. So budget is definitely a factor. I love the new LFT line, but it's not true flourocarbon. I keep hearing rumors about a 100% flouro coming out from them, but have not heard for sure. I also have only used it on a crankbait rod so far, so I don't think that's a fair test. I love the way it casts a crankbait though! Our new 100 percent fluoro will be called Hyper Fluorocarbon, It will be a 4 core process, right now the top quality fluorocarbon lines coming out of japan are only 3 core process. This new Hyper fluoro is some amazing stuff. My experience has been that you get what you pay for with fluoro lines. What will the Hyper fluoro retail for Mark?

Interesting that someone voted for Berkley Vanish. From my experience probably the worst line ever. Realize this: There are alot of new, young, inexperienced anglers that have not see the "light of day". That's why we get the "What is your favorite...." repeating all the time. Also, some folks might not have tried any of the other's for various reasons. I really don't think you can judge someone on what line they like... I've realized when it comes to line opinions it more like buttholes....everyone has their own opinion on what works best for them. I got a buddy that has won more money than we can count with Vanish...he's no rookie! I promise ya that...half these people on the TFF have donated to him! Myself I like Vicious, but I get a "TFF Beat Down" everytime I say that! LOL!

Vicious isnt bad,it just has a little more memory.I LOVE seaguar myself.BPS is good too,I think that the reason most of us have had such bad experiences with vanish(I hate the stuff personally),is because you cant really get it at anywhere that would consider the "shelf life" of line, like wal-mart...they dont move enough line to keep fresh spools on the rack constistently.Probably most of us that got our Vanish at wally world, the line is 6 months-1 year old.

Other - Vicious
I know a lot of folks don't like it, but I have been using it the past two years, and it has performed well for me.

How in the wide world of sports do you see anyone being judged by my statement. I'm referring to a product and not an individual. I said it was interesting that Vanish got a vote knowing that MOST who have tried it consider it low quality line. Congrats to your friend who is having success with it and winning more money than we can count.

Only Seguar for me. None of the others I have tried were even close. There may be some other good ones out there but I have no reason to switch.

I like BPS, invis x, and 100%. I hate Vanish and Viscious. I tried Viscious when it first came out. Don't use it in timber. Break off every time.

I like the Gamma Edge, but it is real expensive. We tend to fish Trilene 100% and Seaguar InvizX.

I prefer the Berkley 100% but use the Seguar invis-x a lot also. The seguar seems to have quite a bit more strech so I like the Berkley more for hook sets with plastics or something I need a little more power with.
