A bunch of boats lost their rods Saturday night at the Skeeters owner tournament in the Oak Ridge area, they opened my rod boxes but rods were in the room. Hope they catch them soon.

hope they get the bastages, smart move to keep them in room even if boxes lock those locks are so weak. Not worth losing thousands of dollars in equpt. I've had all of my tackel stolen from my trucks tool box many years ago, and it's hard to start all over. I didn't even notice for several weeks since i was in college at the time, but thank God mt rods and reels were in the apartment I lived in.

I'll be down there this weekend and my stuff will be in my room for sure. it's worth 5 min of moving stuff back and forth.

I was at Sandlin/Reagans last weekend. They had 13 boats broken into and robbed of rods/reels 3 weeks ago. Look s like the methheads have moved east. Said it was their first theft in 30 years.

I had heard that several weeks ago it was actually one of the Anglers stealing the rods.

I have had a boat stolen from me and have had been broke into. I learned the lesson the hard way if you want to keep it either take it out and/or lock it up. The $1200 in Lowrance graphs and $600 in Falcon/Revo rigs come out and stay with me and my 12 gauge. Even when I put my boat in storage BIG chains and heavy Master locks go through the wheels and up over the trailer axle.

Okay they can have the anchor. But I tell it is a sinking bottom of the pit stomach feeling to go around the back of your apartment and find that your pride and joy is no longer there.

One guy had 24 rod & reels stolen, 5 feet from his camper, valued at around $15,000.00. He actually lives on the lake on the east branch near the minnow bucket. They cut his cover strap, bolt cutered his loc-r-bar and he woke up to neon stick jackets hanging out of his boat and stiff all over the ground. Son of a gun I'm still fighting mad about it.

Damn that all really bites hard. Was listening to a guy on the water Sunday, saying he had his stuff stolen. Even took the life jackets. Crazy, hope they catch them, they should bring keel hauling back! If not 45's make pretty holes.

Most of the folks leaving their stuff in the boat probably aren't reading these posts.
