What we're they clocked at? It's a Rush. Had a buddy that raced flat bottoms, 454 big block, built by the Unser bro's. 125mpr was fast enough for me.

Thats a nice boat. It depends on how fast you want to go. My fastest in my Pantera Classic is 72.3 GPS which is 12 mph out of my current comfort zone. It started chining real bad and I had to trim down to put more of the boat in the water to get right. 60 to 65 at daybreak on calm water is all the "rush" I need. If you daredevil younguns  need to run 80 go right ahead.

well I would have to say .... I would love to see them run that fast on our lakes around here.... with all the skiiers and such.... the 3 foot + swells we get would cause some issues.. my boat runs to fast for our lakes.. i generaly get it up on plane..trim it out andd run about 30 ... alot safer that way. my boat will do 68 with gps and that to me is to fast!

boats run better in the colder weather. LOL! springtime would be the best time to run it. my boat will run 68 in the cold, and 65 in the warm months. I would like to see it run 98

Pretty sure Joe B is referencing the spring wind here in Texas. That river sure looks a lot like the Tensaw in southern Alabama. I was born and raised close to there. Full of crazy rednecks that love to go as fast as they can in their bass boats. My brother has a 18.5 ft Hydro Sport with a 175 Evenrude and he gets passed like he is sitting still sometimes on that river. It is like the testing grounds for crazy fast boats. In the 80's I let a guy pull me on a tube behind a 16 ft skiff with a Merc 150 on back of it on that river. What a ride that was.
