I am a little partial to a Skeeter ZX250. I just fell off my chair laughing....This post was not titled "which boat makes you want to wear a cup when riding rough water"

Gotta be a seasoned driver.

My buddy has a 1999 Charger 19ft, Handled the big water on Falcon with ease. Can't beat my 97 221 Elite Champ. on rough water. That 22ft will get you anywhere.

I'm partial to BassCat but I wentout with Jim Edwards (who is a very good driver) in his 09 21 foot Skeeter on Falcon in pretty rough stuff and I was impressed. I'm sure it was a lot of his driving but it was a very smooth, solid ride.

ChampioN has been the best for years. Others are still trying to catch up. The only other boat I would ever buy would be a Stroker.

I use to have a 21' Triton and just traded it in for a 206 Champion. The triton rode ok but the Champion rides very well. Im impressed with the Champion.

I think it's a well known fact that is hard to beat a big Champ in rough water. I've been in big stuff in a 19' Champion that I wouldn't want to run in my 518 Ranger. But, it's really hard to pick one boat and say it's the best next to Champion. I think if you know the tendencies of certain boats, you can make them do really well. Champs plow, Rangers are best when they plow, whereas Cats and Skeeters need to be up on top to get the benefit of the hull design. I can find good things and bad things in all of them. I haven't been in a Triton newer than 01 to know how they are. I loved my 01, but didn't like it in rough water due to riding nose down. I have heard the X3's are awesome. I'd buy one again for sure.
