I know there are many who are die hard "branders", but seriously, what is the brand of boat that from your experience has the smoothest ride? I currently own a 21' Triton and it is pretty darn good in rough water. I've been on 21' Skeeter that was pretty smooth, 21' Ranger that was very easy on the Guts and 21' Procraft that beat the shart out of you. I've heard the Legends have a silky ride. I've only been in an 18' Champion and it was pretty nice as well. Let's hear your opinions/experiences.

It all depends on the driver of the boat...
All boats will get you wet at some point, if someone tells there brand of boat wont get you wet, they are lying.
I have been in just about every brand of boat, and like most of them for different reasons, I didnt like Triton's when I first rode in one, and then I got in another with a GOOD driver and it made all the difference in the world...
I like Legend boats, but a lot of that has to do with the customer service from Legend itself

I had a skeeter, currently run a ranger. The ranger has a deeper hull and is better in rough water. Just my .02

As far as dry, that's another category and I, too, have never not gotten wet in 3 footers.

I own a '09 21' Stratos Evolution, it rides great, but is not the best. The best I have been in and driven is an '08 Bass Cat Cougar, pretty hard to beat, in fact if I lived where there was lots of "big" water I probably would own one. But has it's draw back just doesn't seem to fish as well especially in skinny water, not as agile in the shallows and around timber and wood.
but remember this is a personal opinion, you asked!!!

we have a 20 ft. triton, and even with a good driver it can be rought at times but this is the equivalent of not having a newer model boat. a friend of mine however has the 21 ft. champion with the 300 vMax and its alot smoother than my other frineds 21 ft. iSeries skeeter. Champions have kind of built a reputation on their rough water performance and after riding in one I am a beleiver.
+1 on CHAMPION

However, it all comes back to the driver of the boat, regardless of the boat, if the owner or person driving knows how the boat handles and knows how to drive in big water, then it makes the ride a lot more pleasurable.

I have a Skeeter ZX225 and it is not the smoothest riding boat. I rode in a Triton and recently a Legend and was impressed with both. Really impressed with my uncles old 21' Champion.
However I was not impressed with the stability of the Legend. It rocked back in forth when I would walk to the other side of the boat and when fishing in rough water (because of all the ski boats going by) I had to pay attention so I wouldn't lose my balance when I had 1 foot on the trolling motor. I guess I was spoiled with the stabilty of my Skeeter. I think Legends are the prettiest boat made and I really want one, but just not sure I want to lose the stability from the Skeeter. Unfortunely I fish central Texas where thousands of ski boats run next to you all day long so a stabile platform is very nice.
