Hopefully they get them dialed in. I saw one someone had thoughtfully decided to dump in the zoom aisle and wondered how they could sell it for $30 when the reel seats and guides they used cost almost $20. If they get a good source for blanks they'll be a killer.

I hope Academys keeps it up. It's great to hear that they are trying to develop fishing products most families and young anglers can afford. It's not good having only BPS to mostly service this market.

The reels are awesome...the line sux and i didnt believe it but i was right back respooling within the week...the H20 cranks are exactly the same as the lucky crafts the only difference being the hooks.....I have a 7 footer H20 rod that hasnt broke yet but if it does then ill join you guys.....in my opinion the mettle is the best reel for the price....flawless
