I know they are there. Saw them on the fish finder the other day. The water is real murky, maybe a few inches of visibility. I'm thinking maybe minnows might do the trick? Anyone have any advice on catching a few under that bridge?

Beat the heat. The floating headlight at night. Tie up on downwind side of pilings at dusk and put out the light. Caught many there over the years. Haven't tried there in past 5 years though.
(Sidenote- when I fish choke for crappie, the green submergable lights don't seem to work in warm water. Only have luck with them in spring and fall)
My new crappie spot this time of year is now at lake corpus christi or Texana.

The park at CC closed the last ramp on the west side this past weekend. Don't know where you could launch a big boat.

Yeah Sandia. I went there to fish and was turned back at the gate.
I guess kayak around the pier for crappie is best option.
Heck if you could find somewhere to launch you'll have the lake to yourself. No corpus speedboat and jet ski competition.
