ya, I like the wind when it is hot. when it is 100 outside and not wind and the water is slick, it is misserable. the only way to cool off is by running across the lake.
Thanks,

The wind was our blessing today. Went to the windiest bank on Vilbig this nmorning and had an awesome day. An 8.2, 2 6ers and another 5 or 6 that went 3-5.
Bets 5 fish sack I have had in my 13 years here, it was a close 30 pounds.
Went out of the wind....nada....went back and POW!
+1 pacertom, Where you by chance using a spinnerbait ???

I will admit at times that it can be annoying and make it difficult to fish, but as long as you don't let it mess with you head to much, which I am guilty of, it will always be your friend. I catch my biggest numbers and quality of fish in the wind.

Haven't lived in Texas long I take it? I guess I've missed these winds? It was a little windy Sunday, but nothing you couldn't fish in. It makes fishing better so I don't understand the complaint.

Use it to your advantage. Rough on a boat, but it gets the waster churned up in the summer.

I catch my biggest numbers and quality of fish in the wind. it has gotten to that point and cant shake it off. I know wind is your friend but when you start going backwards with the TM on 4 and yes new batteries to. It just gets tiring. Look its Monday and the Wind for today is From SSE at 5 mph and where was I oh ya at work.

I don't mind the wind, I just like to keep my trolling motor in the water. I'll be glad when it lays to 5-10

Sounds like its time for a bigger TM. The wind has been our friend on Lewisville for the past 5 weeks. Throwing spinnerbaits and c-rigs on the windy points has produced 20-30 fish each time I get out there.

Try a pond or river with tall trees. It'll get so hot down in there you'll pray for a breeze.... har de har har
