Ok guys, After much deliberation, I've decided to sell my 1964 Super Skeeter.
This is a ONE of a kind boat. We built this boat three years ago and many of you guys have seen this in the boat shows or even out on the lake.
We started off with this boat and stripped it down to the hull and completely went through it. New Floor, New Transom, Custom Trailer with Aluminum Wheels, Custom Engine Cover.
As the basic build was going on, friends of the shop suggested adding flames, but with metal flake and gelcote rather than paint.
As the build progressed and we decided to make this a custom build vs. a retro restore, we changed everything we could, but wanted to stay with the factory stick steering.
We added a custom live well, complete with timers and recirculation pumps, and pump outs!
2 - 1250 GPH bilge pumps.
45 Pound MotorGuide Foot Controlled Trolling Motor
Lowrance 125

This boat is surprisingly stable. When you stand up in the boat, you are actually standing below the water line. I was completely surprised how well you can walk around in these Skeeters.
Plus, with it having a Jet Drive, there is no risk of hitting a piece of timber or stump. I just drive completely through the timber without worry!
The boat will run 25-35 MPH and handles really well. Many of you have seen me fishing all the way from Pilot Knoll on Lake Lewisville, all the way to the Old Alton Bridge.
We have over 250 labor hours invested in this project, and several thousand more in parts. Computed to what we charge per hour it would cost more than $22,500 to build this boat again.
I'm listing it for $7,500 or OBO. Serious inquiries only please. Even at $7,500 it is a sacrifice. But if you want a CUSTOM, one off boat that can fish anywhere, this is it!
