I second the Vine
Grapevine is excellent this time of year and if we cut out early maybe all the wave makers will still be recovering from saturday nights hangover.
Lots of Acess and fairly central.
I bet you would be real suprised by the weight Of seven good grapevine crappie.

you guys are funny wanna stay close and have a tourny to cut the hours down funny cause guess you cant handle the 8 hours of heat like all us cat members are forced to handle the next three months lol seriously though if you cut the hours then make it lavon or hubbard cause dont see myself travling much farther than that for five or four hour tourny.

Chris that's great I appreciate it.

We can't use the clubs scales anymore so I have to buy a set before the next event. Unfortunatly a refrigerant scale is about 200 bucks. I'll get one soon though. I have my own board for the names that we can use though.

Maybe so James but there are a lot of us that live over here on the West side of the metromess. It's not just about East Texas guys.

Hooo Boooy, Scales.
You had to dig to bring that Zombie back to life.
For the record, I really like what CAT has become.
I am fishing lakes that I wouldn't have on my own because of it and it's making me better for it.
argue
James, your sounding more like Boomhauer now.
Yep, Ummmm Hummmm, dang-ole Ratmo, I tell ya whut.

That reminds me Brian, I'm having crawfish withdrawal hunger pangs - got to get some before season's over. BTW, never did the farming. Our harvesting was in the wilds of the Atchafalaya Basin. I'm lucky to have seen it before they dug a zillion pipeline canals.

I'm going along with James on this. If we're going to fish 4-5 hours then lets at least do it close in. Not worth it to me to drive 90 minutes to fish 5 hours in 100 deg heat....

Pool, Grapevine, Lavon, heck even Hubbard.
