IMHO you do not need to anything different except to re-tie often because rocks fray all types of line...period...end of story! The fraying has zero to do with how busy the rig is.
I have used the same set up as you are for years (except I use the Lindy rattlin sinkers so I eliminate the beads) and except for grass (which the Lindy sinkers do not handle real well) the rig as you have it set up is just fine. Often you can reduce the fraying by just shortening your leader, as long as it does not impact getting bit of course.

Your right, it probably wouldn't have any bearing on whether or not there is line fray. Has anyone mentioned maybe you're dragging across an underwater cable, or metal, or someone defensively sank razorwire on your rig hole?
Definately retie often though... I can throw a rig all day in a tournament with 20 Seaguar and will only have to retie if I feel any fray, which is rarely. We have tons of rock on Stillhouse and Belton and the fish get a ton of pressure offshore, you will catch more fish the less obvious your bait looks in the water. Flourocarbon does that, and bullet weights have to be cheaper and appear less obvious than using a green sock full of rattling' BB's.

Yep Lots of folks have their preference of how they set-up their c-rigs.
It's like any other rigging, it's what you gain confidence in.

It's the keeper. I stopped using them for this reason. Get rid of them, go to a swivel with ligher line for your leader and see that the problem goes away.

It is not the keeper guys, he said he does not have to re-position the keeper so the keeper is not sliding down and if it did slide it would not fray the line, just curl it up. I have used keepers for a long time and know first hand what they do to line when they slip.
Also there are several types of lindy sinkers on the market, I use the solid slightly banana shaped one with the small extension off of the end that has internal rattles, not the one made of fabric or the ones with the long wire extensions on them.
No guarantees as nothing is truly snag proof, but I did once use the same weight for 6 straight months before I finally broke it off in a rock pile.

I like a swivel to prevent line twist.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Your problem is the rocks you were fishing not the keeper sliding up and down the line. You said that you did not have to reposition the keeper and it did not move back into position after sliding down the line all by itself. Picture what is going on down there. You are in the boat and your weight is several yards in front of and several feet down in the water. Your line from the rod to the weight is at an angle so it doesn't contact the rocks much but the line behind the keeper is dragging the worm through the rocks. The float must not have counteracted the weight of the worm since your frayed line is telling you so. I have used the Carolina keepers in the past and went to the two keeper system with a heavier weight but you are not having a problem with the keeper slipping. You just need to cut off the bad line and retie often if you are going to keep fishing like you are. I like to use a heavier main line and a smaller leader line so I use the bullet weight and swivel set up. What line are you using? Some lines are more abrasion resistant than others. P-Line CXX would be a good choice.

Could also be the TYPE of mono you're using. Trilene XL, for example, is soft and will tear easily against wood or rocks. Trilene XT, on the other hand, is springier, but is tough as nails.
