People should be sterilized at puberty and then allowed to have babies only after passing strict exams and reviews. "Accidental pregnancy" should be a prison offense.

truthfully, I say we go back to having immediate trial, sentencing and hanging on courthouse lawn. There is no real justice in situations like these..but there is just punishment. or lynch mob.. I have no problem with that. We all knew something was up when she could not get her story straight with police. She is just as guilty as he. THey both should be prosecuted for capital murder.

In addition to all of the above, I think both parents need our prayers.

I knew it the moment they first interview the mother, very obvious.

Tie em up, bury them to their necks, stone them, let them sit in the heat a while and if they survive, drown them. No mercy for them, just like they had no mercy for the child.

Reality with our justice system is that they will plead insanity and will have an all expense paid vacation at a prison/hotel for the rest of their lives.

As time goes on the anger and rage over the victim's death goes away and shifts towards the defendent, which makes them get a lifelong vacation at the prison instead of the death penalty.

These two will not spend the rest of their lives in jail. I doubt they will even get old while in jail. It sounds like they are touting the girl as a victim. The guy will get a plea deal of a decade or so and probation and she will get a few years, get out in her 20's and get her baby back.

I hope not, but it seems like that is the way it goes anymore.

There is truly no suitable punishment for those two.

There is a very suitable punishment for those two... Simply put them in a 4x8 cell, and have pictures of the babies body as it was found on all the walls, ceilings and floor so that they cannot escape the pictures. And leave them there for life.

Not a murder charge either. That is horrible

it wont be a murder charge until they find the body. I was fishing yesterday and saw all the dive teams. It seems they are having a lot of trouble finding the body. This is just terrible. It makes me angry as well.
