After two failed attempts to find my ring with metal detectors, I went ahead and just bought another identical ring. I would like to thank the Montgomery County Artifact Recovery Club for their efforts to find my ring. Those people sure do have some cool equipment!

As seems to always be the case, the purchase of my new ring did not go without incident. I first went to Bill Barnes.com and ordered a ring. After waitng past the deadline to recieve the ring, numerous unanswered e-mails, and phone call attempts, we put in a claim with our credit card company to get our money back. About two weeks after doing this, we got an e-mail from Bill Barnes saying they were having "problems" and for us to go ahead and file a claim with our credit card company. Gee, thanks! We got a notification from our credit card company about a week later that our account had been credited. Hooray!

We then went to Sea of Diamonds.com, ordered the same ring and got it in about a week! I am now a visibly "hitched" again.

By the way; can't anything be simple?!?!?!
