I haven't been able to get into them good in seveal weeks. I think you got to have a good fish finder and be a slab master to do any good right now. I think the major schooling should start soon, but overall I don't think the Vine has been as good for sandies since the big flood in 2007. In July 2006 I remember it being about 102 at 2:30 in the afternoon and acres of topwater fish over by the island. I haven't seen that much top water action since.
