Braid and fluro combo on ready-made c-rig will break more often than not. if you like to fish braid with fluro leader, use a carolina keeper on the fluro (don't put any metal between the braid and leader).
This may be a stupid question but how can you use a carolina keeper while using braid and flouro?
I have swapped to braid with a 20lb mono leader. I have fewer breaks as long as I keep an eye on the condition of my leader.
