We just fished for an hour along the shore on either side of the ramps. When we first arrived we fished on the south side and I hooked a little bass with a C-rig (she reeled it in). A few minutes later I hooked what felt like a bigger fish, but it came unbuttoned.

She was having a ball on that concrete block. She had been casting with a spinner bait, but was getting frustrated because of the wind and because the fish weren't exactly leaping into her arms. I put her on that block so I could take her picture and to let her goof off a little before we went home for supper.

I've thought it would be fun to have a kayak for fishing, but with kids I'd be better off with a boat of some sort that two or three of us could use at the same time. smile

If you see us down there some time, I'd be happy to take some pictures of you out on the water, if you're interested.

Glad she had a good time!

You know they make tandem kayaks - you and your daughter could go out in one of those.

Thanks for the offer - but I don't think I need any pictures of me in the kayak. I just took these to put on here and to show friends that don't live around here what it looks like.
