Ok tyers...this swap is "Wide Open".

There has been a great response to the swaps on this forum.

On this swap, tie up whatever you want but make it wild and crazy.
Let's see how creative you can get.
It doesn't really have to be a jig that you would fish with.(but it would be fine to do so)
Think of a jig that you might send to someone as a "gag gift".
Or a patriotic jig, as this swap will end on July 4th.
(I hope everyone gets their jigs back by the 4th).

Sign-up deadline will be May 28th.

I will PM my address to the swappers on June 22nd and I hope all jigs will be in the mail to me by June 24th.

Start the sign-up here:

(we will add more if needed)

I would like for each member to post their own jig picture when you mail the jigs to me.
Thanks to all...Danny.

I wouldnt mind doing it but dont want to tie 20 "crazy" jigs. I would rather get some that look like they will catch fish. Some of the one's I got in the 2 swaps I was in were really, really nice. Sandwhich maker and Fridays 86 were my fav's I think. Plus mine of course lol.

I'll prolly tie a normal jig, maybe some odd (not the norm) colors or something pretty.

I caught fish on a lot of them from the swaps. The only crazy looking one I got a fish on was red top lady's.

I think thats more what possum meant... Not necessarily crazy jigs, but maybe some color combo's you dont normaly tie.Ive never fished a green jig in my life, but with all this grasshopper and other jig talk lately Ive been tying some cyclop

Rad if you will use the Guinea feather jig that I did in the last swap, you will like it. I've caught over 300 on it this spring.

SURE!...do a normal jig...that's why it's wide open.

Already got my jig heads poured and painted! Prolly can't start tying until Sun. tho. due to other commitments.

I should start a new thread to introduce myself.
