OH YEAH! It's Gonna be an IRONMAN Tournament! Bring it on!

Expecting 15-20 teams. Hoping for more than that. Alot of those that fished the tourney I sponsored last year were not on this forum. They got the info from the flyers we placed out around the local area. Had well over 20 teams last year.

DB and SaltyDawg... Count Team Scooter IN! Might oughta get me one of them shelters too! Wife and I have our 1yr anniversary this weekend... Nothing spells romance like a full livewell!

Just so you know Dave, Jack and I plan to fish and will be checking in Friday evening. Looking forward to sweating and getting blown around the lake..lol. Hopefully a few crappie will sacrifice themselves to our livewell.

It's going to be super hot this Saturday. Make sure you all start hydrating yourselves now (with water). Bring plenty of sunscreen, water, ice and gatorade along with you on the boat and use it. Don't want anyone getting any heat related injuries or other injuries as well while fishing the tourney. Be safe, Be careful and I will see you all there.

Just as suspected, my parter told me today that he does not want to fish the tourney. He is no longer my fishing buddy because he does this all of the time. He gets on my nerves... Anyways, if anyone still needs a partner, I'm there. I have a kayak but no other boat so I need to find somone with a boat or another yak. I can probably borrow another yak if someone wants to do that.

You can still fish it by yourself. Singles are welcome. Happens all the time. It will just cost you the 40 bucks for the entry fee and an extra 5 bucks for big fish entry if you choose. Come on out and fish.

Good luck to all...we were down trying to prefish and got our rears kickedtonight...just two cats. Decided to take our chances on Beltontomorrow and avoid the 45 buck donation ...lol. Talk about a frustrating night.
