There are 3 free piers in Port A that will provide all the piggys your kids can catch.( Charlie's Pasture,) Roberts Point Park and the Station Street pier. Just make sure you use long shank hooks to make unhooking the fish easier. Good luck.
Have they reopened Charlie's? last time there it was shut down .
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!

A good pair of long hemostats can really come in handy with this kind of fishing.

Charlie's Pasture is great fishing for kids. That is where i took my Grandson when he was small. Now we go catfishing and he is pretty good at it at 12. Charlies is when you get off the Ferry go to red light take right and immediatly behind the store take a right. Then just follow the road. The Jetty's would be good alos but might be a little much for a 3yr. old but if you went there stay lft when you get there and there is a pier with flashing light to your lft. fish under the pier with a bobber and shrimp and then you can throw out also. The Jettys when you get off ferry just go straight till you get there.

Headed down there this weekend to fish HC pier and the jetties. Couple of questions...where can you get sabikis in Port A? I love catching bait that way! Also, what type of rig do you fellas use to fish the surfside of the jetties for flounder/reds? Any tips much appreciated!
