I think we finally have a date set. April 25th. I will try to attach Flyer & rules in a seperate email. Hope the weather is nicer to us than in the past.
We all have a great time fishing then weigh-in is at The American Legion Post in Pilot Point and is a family event. After weigh-in we clean the fish and cook them up with all the trimmings and enjoy. Be sure to bring all legal fish that can be fried up to weigh-in.

My Grandson Foster is 11 this year and he has promised to take it easy on you Guys this year.
Anyone with an electric knife please bring to weigh-in. Our 2 new ones bought for last year were stolen.
With Bass slot changing this year our little quiet lake will get busy after Sept 1st.

Lyndee, being a meteorologist for the NWS(weather service here in Ft Worth), it's hard to say, but the end of February/March are the windiest times of the year, so though there could be some wind in late April(say behind a cold front), it's nothing like every day as in this past week.

Stay the course and weather permitting(storms), late April should be a nice day for a fish fry at RR.

Last year I thought I would have to tie my Grandson to the dock!!
It was really bad! We fished from the Marina Fishing Dock and Boats came in & tied up to get out of the wind. Been bad last 3 years.

I have my 1st Wed Night Bass Tournament this Wed. sad to say I checked the forecast.

This year everyone will be responsible for cleaning their own catch. So bring your knives guys.

We will be in our Mid-Season Tournament that weekend, and hope to be beatin up on Pilot Point, Celina, and Collinsville and taking home the trophies.

If I'm up in Pilot Point by then, I may have to stop in for some fried crappie though. But I doubt I will be

if anyone needs a partner for this event please get a hold of me. i have been crappie fishin 15 years on ray hubbard and 4 on cedar creek. i love crappie fishin and if the fish are around i can put them in the boat. i have heard good things about ray roberts but i know nothin about the lake. any kind tips that would lead me to findin shallow crappie would be appreciated. god bless and good fishin guys

My Grandson & I fish from the Marina Pier and two years ago he caught a 1.80. Several of my Guys go to the mouth of Buck Creek proper and bank fish.
