My vote is for a badger as well. Coatamundi have long tails, so unless his was chopped of.. its not a coatamundi!

It is a White Nosed Coati. Obviously it lost its tail to some predator or accident. Maybe the mountain lion that also visits this watering hole.

To say because it does not have a long tail that is can't be a Coati would be like saying a man involved in a haybailing incident with only one arm left is not a man. nuts

A Coati no doubt.They were everywhere in Panama.I wonder what that one is doing so far north?Looks like he lost his tail somehow.

Somebody on TFF of THF probably blew it off trying to shoot him. I love how anytime somebody posts a pic of any animal or snake the reaction is to shoot it. It always cracks me up.
