AN interesting question:

Would a lead dumbell headed clouser style minnow qualify as a crappie jig?? There really isn't much difference in how they would be fished. The reason I ask is there are some great new fibers available at http://www.softexpressions.com/software/threads/AngelFibr.php called Angelina Fiber. Some are mylars that are irridescent and some are flourescent mylars.

I'll order up some and participate if they are OK.

Those would be just fine yuccaflats! I've used clousers for years on crappie and they work wonderfully!! I'll get ya signed up on the list of participants!

Yes, they work great. I tie them and other patterns and call them teasers, when I use them I usually tie one up above my jig about 12".
