Hello jig TIERS...
I noticed that some may have a problem with getting the paint off of the eyes once forgot and baked. Well, been there done it...and been tying jigs for over 14yrs now... I don't usually post pix of my jigs, but I do from time to time...

Check out your local hardware stores (not all will have) and get yourself a couple of small drill bits. Small?...yes, small so that it would fit through the eyes accordingly depending on your hook sizes and types, models, manufacturers...

I am sure most if not all have a Dremel laying around. Most people own a Dremel, yet rarely put to use. Well, here is your chance of putting that high dollar toy to good use!

well it looks like the folks here have a setting in place that precludes one from making updates to a post in a thread once it has been 14 days (to the minute!!)

well that's a hassle!!

1. Sign-up deadline: 11:59:59pm (Central) on April 15, 2009 (no further sign-ups will be accepted after this date/time; no foolin'!)
2. Jigs must be mailed out by: April 30, 2009 ... you should have the jigs back by mid-May.
3. You will tie up one your favorite jig patterns (all jigs submitted must be of the same pattern); one jig for each participant,including yourself.
4. A maximum number of 20 tyers will participate in this swap!!
5. NO PICS ARE TO BE POSTED UNTIL THE SWAPMEISTER HAS MAILED THE JIGS BACK OUT TO THE JIG SWAP PARTICIPANTS!!! Also, the ONLY thing you can mention about your jig pattern in this swap is ... (1) Jig head color, (2) Jig body color and (3) Jig tail color. No discussions should be made about materials or hook size. Let's keep this swap a complete surprise for everyone!!!!
