I don't know about best, just from lack of testing many other brands, but I trust Seaguar. It has light memory on cold mornings, but after a few minutes it works itself out. Very strong as well; I've pulled many a big fish out of what I thought were impossible situations while using it. Twenty bucks a spool. It's up there, but it's worth it.

That's not a pure fluorocarbon line. My favorite it Seaguar Invis-x

Seaguar invisx is the best. BPS is a close second when it is on sale.

You might want to re-think that bro. Gamma is getting out of the fishing line business. Their fishing divison is for sale though so maybe someone picks them up.

I've only fished one brand because I'm cheap and I've had absolutely zero problems with it. I keep hearing people say that Flouro has bad memory problems and that they have to use a lot of the line treatments to keep from fuzzing up. I've never had a this problem with the brand I use but I have been known to backlash with the thicker P-Line Copolys, so it isn't like I'm an expert caster or anything.

I've never broke off on a fish due to line failure with this brand either.

XPS from Bass Pro Shops is my brand.

I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

I like Sunline FC Sniper and P-Line Halo in 10lb test and under and use Gary Yamamoto Sugoi in heavier that 10lb tests.

You ask 50 fisherman this and you'll get different answers from just about all of them. I personally like the Seaguar invis x. I just bought some of the new Seaguar Tatsu and am eager to give it a go. There are certainly some fluro better than others but overall, I say go with what you have some confidence in.

I agree, each of us have a different fishing style. Each should pick a line with properties that best suit his/her style.
