I did some searches and found a pretty good car Alarm with 6 onboard relays which will handle switches for the lids. It also has a pager, I think it was about 118 dollars. With probably get that and install myself.
Just have to figure out the switches for the lids, found a couple of different ones. I found plunger swiches which would have to be mounted up right and not sure how they would do if they got wet. I found magnitice switches, but may be a little more difficult to mount. Just have to figure it out, no biggie.
Thanks, Billy

Well, I finally got my alarm system installed today and it works like a charm. I had Baldwin Electronics in Odessa Texas do the job. They installed a Viper 350HV which came with a Stinger DoubleGuard shock sensor and a pin switch for the rear battery compartment lid. The Revenger alarm is an ear splitter. I was amazed at how sensitive the shock sensor is,,,clear up to the bow. Total out the door was $350 and a big peace of mind. If anyone in the West Texas area needs an alarm for their boat I highly recommend Baldwin Electrics. Thanks Mike for all the help and info.
